Magic City Cycliad Brunch Crawl Volunteers

Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 from 9:30am to 12:30pm (CT)

About

Magic City Cyliad is a bike ride event with 100% of rider-raised dollars supporting cancer research and patient support services at the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center. There are 4 rides that take place: a 30 mile ride, 60 mile ride, 100 mile ride, and brunch crawl. We are asking for volunteers to help us support our brunch crawl. There are 3 stops on our brunch crawl that we would like to fill with at least 5 volunteers each. They are at Cahaba River Society, Tropicaleo, and Freddy's Wine Bar (we will split you into groups of five or more once we speak with your site manager).

The Brunch Crawl Stop Hospitality Volunteers will help serve food and with general hospitality at each location. This will include making sure participants know where to park their bikes, get water, throw their trash away, etc. Volunteers will help the stop run smoothly and timely while making sure participants have a good experience. They will also be a point of communication between participants and event staff in case of emergency. Volunteers are not expected to handle emergencies but are expected to connect participants with those that can be of assistance.
