The San Antonio River Walk Association is seeking individual volunteers and volunteer groups to help set-up Yellow Ribbons on trees along the River Walk starting at 9 am on May 3rd, and for ribbon removal on May 19th. Please see sign-up slots below.

Project Description 

Yellow Ribbon Project is a thoughtful way to honor those who serve! Yellow ribbons are hung on trees along the River Walk as a highlight of the annual Armed Forces River Parade on May 18th. Ribbons are sold from March 10 - May 18 and displayed through parade day.

Honorees names will instantly appear on the River Walk website through parade day. Purchases may be made through the day of the paradeYellow Ribbons will be displayed on the trees along the River Walk May 4th - May 18th. Proceeds from ribbon sales are used to underwrite the Armed Forces River Parade, which is free and open to the public. Ribbons purchased online at for $5 each.

Requirement Details
Recommended for children over the age of 14yrs. unless accompanied by an adult, supervision is required since we will be getting off and on the boats at different areas along the river.
