With 19 acres of green space in the middle of downtown Birmingham, including nine acres of open lawn and more than 600 trees, Railroad Park has transformed the north edge of UAB's campus into a thriving hub of activity. Join UAB Sustainability and Facilities, along with the Department of Biology's Environmental Science class, for a morning of service at Railroad Park! Participants will pick up microtrash, work in the landscape, pull invasive species from the ponds, and more.

Dress for the weather and landscape work, including hat, sunscreen, and close-toed shoes. Waders will be provided for pond work. Please bring your own water bottle! Meet at the 17th Street Plaza at Railroad Park.
