Volunteers will be paired with a college student with ASD. Volunteers will become a mentor to one or two students and will meet weekly with them to discuss assignments, to schedule additional on-campus tutoring help, to discuss strategies useful in college, to spend social time with students and guest speakers on group night, and to do related tasks as a peer mentor. Due to the varied nature of each student's schedule and concerns, this mentoring is very flexible and is located right on campus in the Teachers College. Mentors are not guaranteed to be matched right away. Students are first referred and then matched based on the student and mentor schedules, personality, programs, and interests.
