Hours needed: M-F between 9am-4pm

 

Objective: To learn the inner-workings of a non-profit donations center while developing new and creative ways to streamline intake processes, develop new pipelines for ongoing shelter supply needs and improve our donor experience.

Responsibilities

·        Assist the Donations Coordinator with receiving and sorting incoming donations, stocking and inventory

·        Provide assistance to Harmony House residents with finding clothing in our boutique, hygiene products and household items during scheduled appointments

·        Maintain organization and cleanliness of donations warehouse and boutique

·        Help provide leadership, direction and training to Harmony House donations volunteers

·        Assist in picking up in-kind items from donors and businesses

·        Generate new ideas to improve processes for receiving donations, stewardship of items and handling overflow

·        Plan a strategy to cultivate relationships with area businesses to ensure ongoing shelter supply needs are met

Ideal candidate strengths: Organization, multi-tasking, creativity, logistics/strategizing, adaptability, compassion for domestic violence survivors
