Description
Looking for a service project for your school group or club? Interested in protecting the health of our streams and rivers? Storm Drain Decaling may be the perfect volunteer project for you!

In Athens-Clarke County, storm drains empty directly into streams and rivers without any treatment, so the only thing going down them should be rainwater. ACC Stormwater leads volunteer groups in applying colorful decals to storm drains that warn people not to dump anything down the storm drain. This project can be done on school grounds, in a neighborhood, or along a public road. ACC Stormwater Staff will work with your group to determine the most convenient location.

This volunteer opportunity is best for a group of 10-15 people and lasts for around 2 hours. If you are interested in setting up a project, register here or email stormwater@accgov.com. We look forward to working with you!
