Farm Classroom (2nd-5th grade) and Growing Up Wild (PreK-1st grade) are field trip programs at the Historic Herff Farm
These programs run seasonally Spring (March-May) and Fall (September-November) Tuesday-Thursday 9am-12pm
Volunteer Guides lead hands-on activities with groups from 10am-12pmFarm Classroom and Growing Up WILD offer a variety of activities for Volunteer Guides to lead:

Field Trip Orientation is held in the Spring (late February) and Fall (early September), and covers any important program information. New Volunteer Guides must shadow an experienced guide during a regularly scheduled field trip at least once before leading an activity. You can sign up through out the year regardless of attending orientation. All information can be shared via email or in person during shadowing.
