Literacy Day is an annual event sponsored by the Landis Center. The primary focus of this community-oriented event is to promote enthusiasm for reading and other types of literacy. Approximately 40 students from the Easton community will come to the Lafayette campus and participate in various literacy activities based on the book "Ada Twist, Scientist" by Andrea Beaty. The book exemplifies themes of curiosity and creativity which provide a wonderful basis for a fun-filled day celebrating literacy. There are multiple volunteering options available. Please keep in mind that all-day volunteers MUST attend a mandatory orientation Friday, March 3rd at 4:30 pm.
Please be aware that you MUST have all your clearances complete in order to be eligible for this event!
