Alpha Phi Eta Sigma is dedicated to the improvement and betterment of the Lafayette campus and the general Easton area. On campus we sponsor several philanthropic events to raise money for the Alpha Phi Foundation - an organization that empowers women to be generous givers. The Foundation raises and awards funds for programs that advance leadership development, encourage academic excellence, improve womens heart health, support sisters in need, and educate about the value of philanthropy.
Throughout the year, the sisters of Eta Sigma also participate in events sponsored by other organizations on campus and many of our sisters are also members of the campus community service organization, the Landis Community Outreach Center, in addition to being involved in countless other campus groups and organizations.
Every year around Valentines day, Alpha Phi hosts King of Hearts, a male beauty pageant, which supports Alpha Phi's philanthropy: The Alpha Phi Foundation. This foundation supports several causes but focuses their efforts on funding Cardiac Care. Money raised through ticket sales and donations for the pageant goes towards this cause.
