NeighborWorks strives to keep Lincoln a safe and prosperous community by revitalizing neighborhoods and promoting homeownership. Some ways to get involved at NeighborWorks Lincoln include: painting murals, being a volunteer coordinator, registering voters, working in the graffiti program, conducting property assessments using PDA/GIS, revitalizing neighborhoods, assisting in researching wind power and geothermal ideas to promote "green" building, and working in community development. This is an excellent opportunity for public administration, art, engineering, architecture, and urban planning majors. No training is required. Short-term, long-term, and one-time commitments are available. Groups are welcome!
