Columbia Springs is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and partner to the historic Vancouver Trout Hatchery, which is operated by Washington Fish & Wildlife. Together, we steward and maintain the surrounding 100-acre natural area which includes two small lakes, interpretive displays, and ~2 miles of hiking trails. We operate on-site field trips, Salmon in the Classroom, Repair Café, Nature Nuts Summer Camp, our Visitor Center, guided walks, several festivals, and workshops. Our mission is to offer a unique, natural setting where educational experiences can help foster a greater awareness of the natural world, which we hope will inspire stewardship.
