Alabama Rabbit Rescue Volunteers

About

The Alabama Rabbit Rescue is in severe need of extra volunteers to give their time feeding the many rabbits at our rescue in Birmingham.
Each of our volunteer leads manage salads (that's what we call dinner time) every night at the Rescue. I would love to bring a group with me and teach everyone the ropes of rabbit care and educate about the history of domesticated rabbits and the harm the rescue saves them from. This would take around 2-3 hours of volunteer time and the rescue is located not too far from campus (~25 minutes). Salads shifts are from 5pm-8pm every day, Cleaning shifts are from 10am-12pm Wednesdays and Sundays, and we always can have volunteers clean, organize, or socialize with the bunnies throughout the day.
It might just be perfect timing with the easter holiday rolling around! This volunteer-based org is in need of volunteers every day so even if Thursdays do not work out we can work with your schedules!
