I spent the morning at the Habitat for Humanity Restore in Fayetteville. The first task was unloading over 30 doors from a delivery truck and sorting them for resale. Next, we cleaned donated sinks and set them on the floor for sale. I spent the final hour and a half assembling ceiling fans. They had been donated and were still in the box so I was tasked with putting them together so the store employees could display them as an entire piece.
I enjoyed this experience greatly and it kept me on my feet and active. The employees of the store were very gracious and ready to assist if I had any questions.
We spent our time walking around the Athletic Alley and the Gardens examining lighting posts, the blue emergency poles, and unsafe infrastructure such as broken sidewalks. We wrote down these issues and were able to compile them for UAPD, FAMA, ASG, and the Resident's Interhall Congress
