Ran the popcorn booth at the benton county fair. Help customers with popcorn and drink orders.
I arrived at the BCFGs to assist Linda Simpson on "judge" day. I applied winning ribbons to the Home Arts Crafts, helped seperate each items into clubs, then set up each club and presented all the craft items entered. I left the BCFG at 5pm!
The kids learned all about Dairy cows and farming. They got to watch the cows be milked, went and saw some up close and personal, then went and played with the baby bull that was 2 weeks old. The kids learned so much with that trip!
I love everything there is about 4H! I love donating my time to make sure that my family and other families stay up to date with 4H info.
Prior to District: I spent 6 hours helping/ guiding Hannah, Kyleigh, Noah, and Daniel with thier powerpoints. I spent an entire day working on Lilyans speech and powerpoint. Multiple practices each day. At District: Lily competed in Environmental Stewardship at District. Listened to Daniel and Noah practice thier speech, as well as Lilyan. The day was very well organized and planned out. Everything went smoothly, with no major issues! I enjoyed the night before, dinner and extra practice! It was our 1st time at District, and was an experience neither Lily or I will forget!
This has been a fantastic fundraiser for our group! My kids have learned how to take care of these plants, and they learned how to donate them and everything that brought with it. We will definitely do this fundraiser again!
The picture included, is just one of the days we did a plant donation station at Freds in Pea Ridge, AR.
Thanks!
